Can family and friends watch?
To ensure you have the best possible experience and to comply with our maximum capacity requirements, additional guests cannot join unless they have a ticket.
CaN I bring my dog?
As the donkeys can become agitated around dogs, please do not bring your dogs with you.
Do you have toilets?
Yes, we have an accessible toilet with a baby changing table that is available to all visitors.
How long are the walks?
The short walk is about half a mile long and takes in a circuit of our paddock and a short climb to Hilltop House.

The long walk continues for approximately a mile beyond Hilltop House. You will follow a gentle incline, at the top of which you will be rewarded with breath-taking views across the Clwydian Range and the Loggerheads. We recommend a medium level of fitness for this walk.
Do you take group bookings?
We offer a variety of packages for private group bookings. These range from team-building activities to birthday parties and can be tailored to your requirements. For a personalised quote, please email us at info@moelfamaudonkeys.co.uk.
What do I need to know before I arrive?
As we can't guarantee the weather, please wear sturdy footwear such as wellies or walking boots and a suitable coat. Please be advised that sandals and flip-flop-style footwear are not permitted.
Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before your experience begins.
Your guide will be there to meet you by the welcome hut.
Late arrivals cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Are experiences accessible?
Our meet-and-greet experience is wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the walks are not.
do you have a café onsite?
A selection of light refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, snacks, and ice cream, is available from our self-service cabin. You are welcome to enjoy your refreshments in our picnic area.



Our self-service cabin is the perfect place to stop and enjoy a light refreshment before or after your experience. We offer a selection of seasonal hot and cold drinks, snacks, and ice cream. We are proud to support our local produce suppliers by stocking Chilly Cow ice cream, which is made in Llanychan, near Ruthin. We have a Level 5 food hygiene rating.
