DONKEY EXPERIENCES

Relax with the donkeys and mentally unwind from the stresses of daily life. Some have likened the experience to guided meditation, connecting with nature and enjoying the outdoors.
We have three different options for booking, varying from simply meeting and caring for the donkeys to taking them out on walks. Before booking, please read the guidance to see if your party is well-suited.
Our scheduled experiences are available for all visitors to book and participate. Private bookings and bespoke experiences are also available, along with alternative dates in the calendar. We can tailor any package to your requirements. Please get in touch with us if you would like to make a private booking or discuss options. We would be delighted to help.

COST
£8.50 PER ADULT (AGE 14+)

ARE FREE OF CHARGE, EACH WITH AN
ACCOMPANYING ADULT
Enjoy 45 minutes in our stable with our guides, learning fun facts about donkeys and how we look after them. There's plenty of time for hugs and cuddles between you and your donkey!
This is suitable for all ages.
If you would like to bring a child age two or under, no ticket is required however please add a note to your booking.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
An adult over 18 must accompany all children age 13 and under.
SHARED WALKS
SHORT WALK 1.5 HOURS
£17 PER ADULT (AGE 14+)
£9 PER CHILD (AGE 6-13)
LONG WALK 2 HOURS
£25 PER ADULT (AGE 14+)
£17 PER CHILD (AGE 6-13)
A pot of Chilly Cow ice cream is also included in long walk experiences.
Sharing your donkey with a partner, spending time with our donkeys, learning how to groom and look after them. Enjoy getting to know your donkey before taking her on a walk around our field. During your trek, you will experience the bespoke agility course, taking your donkey through a trail of exciting obstacles. You will then walk higher up the fields to the Hilltop House, where you can enjoy the fantastic views of the Clwydian Range.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
An adult over 18 must accompany all children 6-13.
Unsuitable for children under 6.
FITNESS REQUIREMENT
A medium level of fitness is required for the long walk experience.
ONE TO ONE WALKS
COST
£39 PER ADULT (AGE 14+)
Spend approx. 2 hours with your very own donkey. Learn how to groom and look after her. Enjoy getting to know your donkey before taking her on a 1-mile walk up our hilly trek. Starting in the Paddock, lead your donkey through the exciting agility course, then move along the nature trail to the Hilltop House. Arriving at the top field, you will experience breathtaking scenery in our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with views over Loggerheads, The Wirral and the Clwydian Range. A pot of Chilly Cow ice cream is also included.
