REGULAR EXPERIENCES
At Moel Famau Donkeys, we offer three unique, hands-on experiences from March to December, giving you the chance to meet, spend time with, and get to know our wonderful miniature donkeys! ​You can choose to meet and care for the donkeys or head out on a scenic walk together. We also run seasonal events throughout the year, so please check our booking page and follow us on social media to see what's coming up!
Our popular shared donkey walks are a fantastic way to get to know our donkeys and meet new friends. You'll join a friendly group of up to 12 people and take a donkey for either a short or long walk, depending on your preference. This is a relaxing, sociable experience that's perfect for families, couples and friends. ​If you would prefer a more personal experience, we offer one-to-one sessions. This option gives you dedicated time with your chosen donkey and allows us to tailor the visit to your needs.

Our group bookings are ideal for special events such as team-building days, hen and stag parties, birthday celebrations, baby showers, family gatherings, wellness retreats, school trips and other occasions! We're always happy to help you create something memorable and fun.

Our regular experiences are open for all visitors to book, while private and bespoke packages are available on request, including alternative dates. We can tailor any package to suit your needs. MEET THE DONKEYS
£9.00 PER ADULT (AGE 14+)
£7.00 PER CHILD (AGE 2-13)

CHILDREN AGED 1 AND UNDER ARE FREE OF CHARGE WITH AN ACCOMPANYING PAYING ADULT.​

Enjoy 45 minutes in our stable with our guides. Learn fun facts about our donkeys and how we look after and groom them. There's plenty of time for cuddles and selfies!

​This experience is suitable for all ages and is fully accessible. Please add a note to your booking if wheelchair access is required.​​​
AGE REQUIREMENTS
​A paying adult ticket (over 18) must accompany any booking including children aged 13 and under. If you would like to bring a child aged one or under, no ticket is required; however, please add a note to your booking.
SHORT WALK: 1.5 HOURS
£18 PER ADULT (AGE 14+)

A pot of Chilly Cow ice cream is also included in long walk experiences.

Join a group of up to 12 people to meet and walk our donkeys. Get to know and groom the donkeys before heading out for a walk. As this is a shared experience, we encourage visitors to take turns holding the reins!

During the trek, you will walk alongside donkeys while completing a fun agility course and navigating an exciting obstacle trail. You will then follow a short incline to Hilltop House, which is the farthest point on our short walk. The longer walk takes you to a panoramic lookout point where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Clwydian Range.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
A paying adult ticket (over 18) must accompany any booking including children 4-13.
Shared Short Walk is suitable for ages 4+.
Shared Long Walk is suitable for ages 6+.

A medium level of fitness is required for the long walk experience.
ONE To One Walks
£45 PER ADULT (AGE 14+)

Spend two unforgettable hours in the company of your very own donkeys and discover just how charming, intelligent, and full of personality these wonderful animals are! Your experience begins in the stable, where you’ll learn how to groom and care for your donkey. Get to know her quirks and character before setting off together on a memorable one-mile adventure.

Lead your donkey through our fun and engaging agility course, then continue along the peaceful nature trail as you make your way up the scenic hilltop trek. As you arrive at the top field, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views across our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – stretching over Loggerheads, the Wirral, and the Clwydian Range.

To top it all off, relax and soak in the scenery with a pot of delicious Chilly Cow ice cream and a comforting Rijo hot drink, included as part of your experience.​
