Moel Famau Donkeys are very excited to welcome you to the return of our Christmas events. Throughout December, there is a magical calendar of experiences in our very own Christmas stable, accompanied by Nansi, Rosie, Tilly, Polly, Bess and Blodwen.

With something for all ages, children can meet Father Christmas and the donkeys within the Christmas stable, to an evening of festive song and cheer. Celebrate the season with us, we look forward to seeing you.
CHRISTMAS DONKEY DASH
SUNDAY 1ST DECEMBER
10AM - 2PM
Join us for our annual charity Donkey Dash across the Clwydian Range with our six miniature Mediterranean donkeys, ending at the Jubilee Tower at the summit of Moel Famau. Take in the spectacular views whilst walking the girls across their most favourite terrain. Of course, wearing a Father Christmas suit adds to the festive mood !

We anticipate this trek will be a 4 hour experience, leaving our base at Moel Famau Donkeys, CH7 5SH at 10am.

COST

£15.00 PER ADULT (AGE 16+)
Each adult ticket includes a 'Father Christmas' suit to wear during the trek. £10 of each ticket sale will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society.
£5.00 PER CHILD (AGE 6-15)
Children are encouraged to wear festive outfits and headwear. £5 of each ticket sale will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society.

The total round distance of the route is 6 miles. Please note the walk is uphill for the first 3 miles, part of the route is along the roadside. We recommend that younger children may need to be secured in a pushchair or parent sling.

Meet the donkeys and father christmas
on weekend dates throughout December
Bring the family for a magical Christmas experience to meet our six miniature Mediterranean donkeys this December. Join our festive 'Meet the Donkeys' experience with Mrs Christmas, learn about the donkeys and help the Elves to look after the donkeys in the stable. Don't forget to bring your Christmas list to post into the stable mailbox. Each family will then meet Father Christmas in his cosy corner whilst preparing for the festivities. There will be a special Moel Famau Donkeys gift for all the children who have been good this year !

​COST£14.00 PER CHILD (AGE 2-12) including a gift. Please note that children age 1 and under do not require a ticket unless you wish to receive a gift. Please add a note on your booking. All CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PAYING ADULT.
£8.00 PER ADULT (AGE 14+) All adults entering the stable require a ticket
(no gift included).
This is a 30-minute experience, allowing plenty of time to meet Father Christmas and access to the stable for the full session time. Each session will have limited capacity to ensure a personable experience.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS in the Stable​

An experience for all to enjoy. Soak up the festive atmosphere of our stable, accompanied by our six miniature donkeys, carol singing and refreshments. A perfect way to unwind with family and friends, and enjoy the spirit of the season ahead. Carols will be sung in Welsh and English, with the opportunity for visitors to join in.

Join us in the Christmas stable to meet the donkeys and spend time learning how to groom and look after them. You will also get to know their personalities! With plenty of cuddles and photo opportunities, this will be a perfect evening to feel festive. You will receive a hot drink and mince pie on arrival to start your evening visit.
