We look forward to welcoming visitors back this Summer season and introducing an exciting programme of activities and experiences. Our shared short and long walks also run throughout the summer holidays. There is something for all ages to enjoy!
BEE KIND DAY
Join us for a truly unique experience celebrating two of nature’s greatest treasures – our gentle donkeys and our amazing honey bees.
Your visit begins with a peaceful guided donkey walk through the beautiful Clwydian countryside, where you’ll enjoy stunning views and plenty of time to meet, stroke and learn about our friendly donkeys.
After your walk, gather for an engaging and informative talk from our resident beekeeper. Discover the fascinating world of honey bees, how a hive works, why pollinators are so important to our environment, and what it takes to produce the delicious honey our bees make right here at Moel Famau.
To finish your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to browse and purchase our locally produced honey to take a little taste of the hills home with you.
Whether you’re a donkey lover, curious about bees, or simply looking for a memorable family day out, our Bee Kind Experience is the perfect way to connect with nature, learn something new and support local wildlife.

jOIN uS for a wild experience
Come and explore our brand-new wild experience, running throughout the summer holidays here at Moel Famau Donkeys.
Meet and groom the donkeys in the stable and take them through the obstacle course in the paddock.
Hunt for wildflowers and minibeasts on our beautiful nature trail.
This hands-on nature experience is suitable for all ages and is perfect for curious children, outdoor lovers and anyone wanting to spend time in nature.

Children aged 2 and under go FREE! Children will receive a bottle of water and a biscuit.
All children under 14 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.
